Be sure to come to the Latvian Song Festival in Hamilton Ontario

- July 1 to 5 2009.

Click here for bass rehearsal recordings in mp3 format.  Wma format  recordings are available for all parts on the Festival web-site.

LATCAN.org is planning a golf outing to coincide with the Latvian song festival in Hamilton.

Since the song festival’s the kick off is at Sidrabene on July 1, 2009 we thought that June 30 at Indian Wells AM (around the corner from Sid) would be appropriate.

Everyone in welcome, men, women and challenged persons, including poor golfers like me; and with a $10 participation fee we can line up some prizes and perhaps get a sponsor or two.

Andris Baders, a director of LATCAN, has agreed to be a focal point for this activity. His email is sveikster@hotmail.com

You will have to book you green fees yourself, since we don’t have any money to cover no shows.

Maybe we can convince the Korp Patria group ( Robeznieks, Melnbards, Innis, Tikins, Kuksis) who are the present North American golf champs to show up and challenged.

Please register with Andris Baders and since we should have a good turn out we can continue with celebrations and prizes at Sidrabene in the evening of the 30th.
